The 60-acre Utah Cultural Celebration Center at the Riverfront is the place to celebrate our ancestors, whether they were indigenous, arrived in the Salt Lake Valley generations ago, or never set foot in the United States. The center is designed to strengthen a sense of unity among the Salt Lake community by highlighting cultural wealth and creativity and offering a forum to celebrate Utah residents' talents in music, dance, performance, and visual arts. This is a place where cultural arts are nurtured, promoted, and celebrated.
The center offers classes in cultural music, dance, arts, and crafts. Check the center's website for a schedule of classes and prices.
The center's art gallery features both permanent and temporary art displays. A large amphitheater located outside is often the site of cultural celebrations of dance and music.
