Vika's Garden Daycare551

We've just started our 4-month old daughter at Vika's after having sent our son (now 4) there as well. I truly feel VERY comfortable leaving my kids here. The environment is a great mixture of play and structure, and in a really caring, loving environment. I feel like our son thrived in a social, fun environment with a real mixture of kids, in age, race, and background (something my wife and I really liked). It's the type of place that if your child is having a tough day, they'll get extra hugs. Conversely, if they're being a brat, or unfair, or just having a tantrum, Vika and her staff work to have the kids work things out and understand what they've done wrong. We often get comments about how neat our son is, and I really think it was because Vika runs a tight ship, and the kids know that they have to clean up.. period, so they do it. At pickup, you get

Vika's is a small family daycare, not a big facility with huge play areas, etc. so expect this. It's in her home, but in completely separate spaces from the private parts of the house. There is one main room, which connects to the garden/play area outside. Kids have2 separate napping rooms, and a bathroom. The place is kept clean and safe. Several times a year, there are events hosted to provide an opportunity to meet other parents.

We are looking forward to having our daughter grow and thrive as well at Vika's Garden.
