Visiting Neighbors' Project Elfing program offers kids and families an opportunity to help elderly and infirm, homebound Manhattan and Queens residents. Spend an afternoon at headquarters, wrapping gifts - sign up early and byo tape and wrapping paper. Older teens can participate in more serious, long-term volunteering opportunities, pairing up with a senior to help with shopping, keep them company, and more. VN's programs serve seniors in Greenwich Village, NoHo, SoHo, the East Village, Chelsea, Gramercy/Stuyvesant, and the Forest Hills/Rego Park communities.
