Founded in 1904, the Waikiki Aquarium is one of the oldest aquariums in the US, and is located next to a living reef on the Waikiki shoreline. More than 420 species, and thousands of animals, are represented in the aquarium's exhibits! The admission fee includes an audio tour.
Classes & Camps: The aquarium offers parent-child workshops, and classes for preschoolers on up throughout the year, as well as interesting summer programming, including a snorkeling camp for wannabe marine biologists ages eight to 13.

During the summer, the aquarium hosts live entertainment every other Tuesday evening.
getting there:
Located in Queen Kapiolani Park, on the Diamond Head (east) end of Waikiki Beach. If you're not driving, take TheBus Route 2 or the Waikiki Trolley.
