Walter Pierce Park is an extremely toddler- and parent-friendly playground featuring well-kept equipment for babies through children ages five or six. The playground is fenced in and is shaded by many trees, making it a welcome destination on hot days. There are benches and picnic tables within the fenced-in area, as well as outside in the larger park. The park includes a multi-use playing field, basketball courts, and a fenced in dog run, and is located in between Adams Morgan and Woodley Park, so refreshments (and bathrooms) are not too far off!
