The Water Taxi runs between Oakland Park Boulevard and Southeast 17th Street along the Intracoastal Waterway, and west along the New River into downtown Fort Lauderdale, as far as the Las Olas Riverfront. It's a great way to get to either the Broward Center or Museum of Discovery and Science, or any number of restaurants on either side of the New River or around the 17th Street Causeway. For a complete list of stops, visit the website. Private charters are also available, including a tour of South Beach, on Tuesdays. Call for information or reservations, which are required.
