Waterford Oaks County Park is a unique 145-acre park near Pontiac. The park features platform tennis courts (a game similar to tennis but different in some rules and with the benefit of heat underneath the court to allow play in bad weather), a bicycle motocross track, sand volleyball court, playground, and more than four miles of hiking trails.

The Paradise Peninsular Playscape offers a north woods play experience for all through the Great Lakes-themed structure complete with a sand dunes area, marsh with cattails, and rubberized surfacing depicting Michigan's lakes, dunes, and forests. Waterford Oaks also is home to The Fridge Toboggan Run and Waterford Oaks Waterpark.
