The 269-acre Wayne C. Kennedy Park is home to the Kennedy Recreation Complex, which features an outdoor Olympic-size swimming pool, and a community meeting room (capacity 25-30 people). The complex's indoor ice-skating rink operates from mid-September to early March with public sessions, skating lessons, and ice-rental time available to the public.

The complex offers an array of classes and sports programs for youth and adults. It also holds a variety of summer camps for children; favorites include magic camp, Mad Science camp, hip-hop dance camp, puppet theater camp, and circus adventure camp.

The park has lighted tennis courts, a bright playground with modern equipment, and plenty of areas for strolling and picnicking. Quail Creek Golf Course comprises 174 acres of the park.
