The Wells Park Community Center houses a gym, a game room, a ceramics room, and a meeting room. The Before School Program runs 7:30am-9am. The Afterschool Program runs Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm. Free snack, homework time, tutoring and reacreation are provided. Computer Fun is available Monday-Friday. Harwood Art and Poetry Program meets Wednesday and Thursday 4pm-5:30pm. All Albuquerque community centers and several elementary schools offer free Summer Recreation Programs for children age 6-12. The programs generally run from 9am-3pm. Some community centers also offer Winter Break, Spring Break and extended hour programs. Contact individual centers for more details and registration information.
