West Charleston Library is known for its excellent Health Sciences Collection. A range of health sciences-related books, videos, and audio materials are available for check-out, and the reference area holds valuable resources for research on health and medical topics. The Secondhand Prose used bookstore is housed here, too.
The library features a weekly Drop-in Storytime for children ages infant to five on Tuesdays at 10am. The library also hosts numerous seasonal events, dance performances, and family shows throughout the year - check the website for schedules.
On weekdays between 3pm and 10pm, volunteers are available for homework help; access is via the website, and students need their library card number and PIN access code to get assistance.
