West Las Vegas Library050

West Las Vegas Library is known for its excellent African American Collection; it focuses specifically on the African American experience in Las Vegas, Nevada, and throughout the West. The collection includes books, periodicals, government publications, videos, pamphlets, and photographs. The Wisely Used Bookstore, selling used library books, is on site, too.

The library also offers several storytimes each week, as well as numerous seasonal events, craft workshops, dance performances, and family shows. Check the website for schedules.

On weekdays between 3pm and 10pm, volunteers are available for homework help; access is via the website, and students need their library card number and PIN access code to get assistance.
