Their new space is great. My kids love going there!

Whirlwinds is a godsend! Breeze in, drop off childcare, when I need it! Brilliant concept. My son has never been happier... I can't say enough good things about the place. Love the new location too!

We went to Whirlwinds a few times and my child had fun, but we stopped because from the stories she came home with and from what I saw at pickup/dropoff I saw that kids who lacked self-control, who were mean, etc gained the run of the place. I didn't want my child around that. The staff is sweet but they don't know how to manage conflicts or unruly kids. The other thing that I couldn't get off my mind is that the enrance is not secured and is not visible from the street. It's in a parking garage, facing away from the street. There is no security: The door is unlocked at all times and anyone can walk right in, unseen by passersby or nearby businesses. This is very much a you-get-what-you-pay-for option.

Nice, but not worth it if you think your child will cry while you're gone. They don't have the resources to help the kid through separation anxiety. A few times they've called me after only 15 minutes insisting that I come pick him up (still charging for the full 2-hour minimum). Finally they just asked us to stop coming. "This is a happy place," they explained. Which I suppose means that crying is unacceptable.

We just had our son's two year old birthday party at Whirlwinds and it is a GREAT spot for a birthday party. The kids had so many activities to choose from for play time. Whirlwinds offers so much for such a variety of ages, even the 6 year old siblings had a great time. It's the perfect place for busy parents to have a party because we didn't have to do anything except bring the snacks and cupcakes! They even provided the treat bags and helped cleanup! Whirlwinds also has the perfect long kids table for everyone to gather around. The staff is so friendly and helpful it really is the easy, breezy place to have a birthday party!

My kids love going to Whirlwinds - the staff is very friendly and engaging with the kids - the different play areas in the mutiples rooms are wonderfully creative - each child can find something that suits their interests. My kids never want to leave when I come to pick them up (age 4 and 6) - they are having so much fun!

From dress-up, karaoke, games, books, puzzles and my three kids favorite arts & crafts Whirlwinds has been consistently great. The staff is energetic and sweet with the kids. We hope to have our next birthday party there!!

We love Whirlwinds! Finally, a fun drop in childcare place that my son absolutely loves-especially music Mondays! The staff is fantastic with the kids and their location is great-right behind the UVillage.

This is a great concept - maybe they'll have the kinks worked out after a few more years. I keep hearing good things about Whirlwinds, but I have had bad luck with them the two times I've needed them. The first time, they did not return my phone call when I left a message about a reservation. The second time, I actually had a reservation and arrived to find the door locked and three other families waiting outside for someone to show up. This was 10 minutes past opening - not a huge amount of time, but if people can't manage to return phone calls and open on time, I'm not about to trust them with my kids. Sorry, Whirlwinds.
