about White Center Library:

The King County Library System operates 46 branches of varying size all over King County; a Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement with neighboring library systems allows Seattle Public Library patrons to check out books from all KCLS locations.

For homework help, click on the link and go to "Homework" in the left-hand sidebar. Kids have access to a live reference librarian who can answer questions (you'll need a library card), as well as to dozens of links to online reference materials.

Check the KCLS website for a complete list of storytimes and other library programs.

tips:

Check the website for weekly story times.

getting there:

From I-5 south: Take the Michigan Street exit and turn right onto Michigan Street. When you reach Marginal Way follow the sign to the 1st Avenue S Bridge. Go over the bridge and stay in the right lane. Take the Meyers Way/White Center exit. At the light at the top of the hill turn right onto Olson Place. Olson Place bears right and turns into Roxbury. From Roxbury turn left on 16th Avenue SW. The library is the third building on the left after you cross 112th SW. From I-5 north: Take the Burien/Highway 518 exit. This puts you onto 148th Avenue when you enter Burien. Travel for about 1/2 mile on 148th and turn right onto Ambaum Boulevard, which becomes 16th Avenue SW as you travel north. After you cross SW 114th Street, the library is the third building on the right (two doors north of McDonalds).
