Avid swimmers or youngsters that just need to beat the heat will find the Whitney Ranch Aquatic Complex a perfect match to their needs. Adjacent to the popular Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, the complex houses an indoor competition pool, which provides a venue for recreational swimming and childen's swim classes.

The outdoor activity pool, open seasonally beginning in spring, has spiral and tube water slides and spray jets. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult at all times in both pools.

getting there:

Henderson is located southeast of the city center. From downtown Las Vegas, take I-15 south. Go to the interchange where I-15 meets with I-515. Take I-515 east and follow it as it curves south. Take the West Sunset Road exit and go west. Turn right on Whitney Ranch Drive and then another right on Galleria Drive.
