A full-service recreation center, Whitney Ranch offers a gymnasium where kids can shoot hoops. It also features a game room with foosball and ping-pong tables, among other activities, and a computer room.
A wide array of kids' classes takes place here, including tap and jazz dancing, karate, tumbling, computer explorers, guitar and piano, and cheerleading. Check the website for a full list of offerings. The center is located adjacent to the Whitney Ranch Aquatic Complex.
Two popular programs at the center provide supervised care and activities for children. Kids Night Out allows parents to drop off children here for games, arts and crafts, and movies one evening a month. Registration is required one week in advance.
Whitney Ranch is also one of four recreation centers in the Henderson area that hosts the Kids Zone program. Designed for children ages six through twelve, the program offers a variety of supervised and interactive activities when school is not in session.

getting there:
From I-515 south, take the West Sunset Road exit in Henderson and go west. Turn right on Whitney Ranch Drive and take another right on Galleria Drive.
