Wild Things Science and Animal Explorations offers hands-on educational science programs featuring live exotic animals, including parrots, snakes, insects, bunnies, chinchillas, ferrets, and more. The company takes its live animal interactions to day care centers, preschools, elementary schools, birthday parties, and community or private special events throughout northern Utah. And they are the winner of our 2009 Parents' Picks Award for Best Party Entertainer in the Salt Lake area!
Birthday party package prices vary depending on the number of animals involved. To limit stress to the animals and maximize interaction with party guests, parties are best enjoyed by groups of 25 kids or less.

tips:
Schedule your event start time at least 30 minutes prior to the start time of the animal visit time to enable all of your guests to arrive and get settled before the animals arrive. Also, be sure to save a parking stall for the presenters so they can park and get the animals to the party in plenty of time.

Awesome excitement for kids and adults!
I was very impressed with Lorein and how she handled all the rowdy 4 year-olds and her knowledge about the reptiles. The reptiles were very intriguing and it was fun to touch them and watch them eat. I will for sure be calling them again!

An Awesome Party for a Five-year Old! My little guy and his 15 friends LOVED this party. Lorein does a beautiful job with the children and the animals. We also loved the ability to choose the type of animals. The parents who attended were EXCELLENT

Great experience for seniors!

Excellent presentation!
Our students Kindergarten-5th grade really enjoyed the anima presentation! Lorean was extremely knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. I highly recommend Wild Things for any age of students!l

Three and Four-year olds loved it!
Wild Things Science has visited our school twice. Both experiences have been exceptional. The animals are a combination of unique (crested gecko, milk snake) and common (ferret, dove). The information shared is pertinent but given in a way to which young children can relate. Lorien is pleasant, on time, and organized. Price is very reasonable. Terrific activity for any classroom!

Wild things did a wonderful job at my 6 year old daughters birthday party that included 20 kids. Wild things did a wonderful job with keeping the childrens attention while at the same time teaching them a lot of information about each animal. I highly recommend them.

Best Day Ever!
We were not able to go on a field trip to the zoo this year and so I was looking for an alternative, what I found was Wild Things Science and Animal Explorations. I was very impressed with her knowledge about the animals and the way she worked with the kids, she was a pro. The kids were still talking about the next day! We can't wait to have them again next year.

Great party!

The best in Utah!!
I am so glad that I decided to do this for my daughters 10th birthday. Lorien is the best and was so good with the kids. By far the best money I've spent on a birthday!! I would recommend this to everyone!!

We LOVE Wild Things Science!

Even parents and grandparents loved it. Lorien did an outstanding job at our event. The first time we have had a program that all the children and parents and grandparents were quiet. I had nothing but praise for the program and everyone said they learned a lot about wild animals. OUTSTANDING

Wild Things Science came for my daughters 7th birthday party and it was absolutley darling. The kids loved it. I loved it. Lorien did the presentation and was great. I got to sit back and enjoy the party. The animals were adorable and it felt good to be giving the kids something educational. I was very also pleased with the professionalism of contacting and confirming our appointment before the party. I definitely am recommending them to all my friends.

Better Than Expected!!
We will be calling back for the next party, it was a huge hit with everyone! The animals were beautiful and fun and Lorien was very informative and amazing with our large group of 6-9 year olds and was very patient and understanding with the hail of questions and comments the kids all had. All the kids left saying that it was the best birthday party and my daughter felt very special as the birthday girl! Definitely Recommend and will be calling back again!

Wild Things was fun! Lorien came to our house with her mammals for my daughter's 10th birthday. She adeptly handled 15 girls, making it fun and educational. I will definitely recommend her to my friends.

We had the 7 animals for a Halloween Party. Some scaley - some bumpy,pokey and soft. The instructor was amazing! She had a lot of patience with the kids, and their questions. They had a great time and I would highly recommend

We loved having Wild Things Science and Animal Explorations over for our sons 4th birthday party. He had a Dinosaur themed party and we picked 4 animals that fit well into the theme. Wild Things was a pleasure to work with from before hand through email communication to the actual event, where the presenter was great for the kids and kept them interested. Other parents at the party were impressed and are looking forward to using them in the future. We will highly recommend!

We had 7 animals for my son's 9th birthday party. I wondered if the kids would be too old for this, but they absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend Lorien and her "Wild Things!" The only downside was the cost; I was charged extra for travel time. Still, it was a great party.

Wonderful Experience - We would recommend Wild Things to everyone who is looking for a fun and educational experience for all ages. The room full of kids were delighted at the thought of having the animals to look at and touch...the handler was great with those who were a bit nervous. They came on time, were clean and didn't rush us at all.

Loved the Handler!
The kids loved it! My daughter had so much fun leading the other kids when it came time to pet the animals. And the adults loved it, too. We especially enjoyed the parrot and very soft rabbit. The only bit of constructive criticism I can offer is that it be slightly long for this age group (nearly an hour).

Fantastic!
This was the best present that we could have given to my daughter for her 8th birthday party. Everything was great, the education taught about the animals, the on hands experience we had. We would recommend this to everyone.

Great party for any age!Lorien did such a great job at my sons 9th birthday! several of the kids asked for thier own Wild Things party when thier parents picked them up. Lorien answered all the questions and was just awesome with the kids. I would recommend this party to anyone!!!

The kids (and the parents) loved seeing the animals and learning about them. I was impressed with her calmness and care with each of the animals, modeling this for the kids. I highly recommend Wild Things for a party gathering.

We had Wild Things at my daughter's 3rd birthday and it was an incredible experience. Lorien was very informative, friendly, patient, and engaging. The animal interaction kept the children transfixed for the entire program. We had children from 6 months to 10 years and everyone (including the adults) loved it. I am so glad I chose Wild Things for my sons 6th birthday party. Lorien was so informative and patient - she answered every single question the children would throw at her (and there were a ton!). I chose WTS&AE becuase of all of the other positive reviews. Everyone was right. My birthday boy and his friends loved the animals. The adults enjoyed it too. I would highly recomend this team for your next party! Lorien was perfect.

Loved Wild Things Animals: We booked Wild Things animal explorations for our daughters birthday party and it was a great success. We had about 20 kids there ranging in ages 3 to 8 and they all loved the animals! It kept there attention the entire time and the nice thing was they were having fun while learning! I would recomend it to anyone!

Birthday for a nine year old..great Party! I thought the nine year old boys might be too old for the animal party but they LOVED IT! It was very educational & fun at the same time. Some of the boys kept some of the business cards & gave it to their Mom's & said "Mom do this for my birthday!" I highly recommend it! Holly (Park City,Utah)

A Great Experience For All! Our birthday was for our 5 year old and a few parents. Lorien was great with the kids and we all learned a lot. This is a great way to keep the kids entertained and educational at the same time. I would highly recommend!

Perfect for ALL ages!Wild Things put on an awesome show! Lorien was well organized and professional and she made a point of making the birthday girl feel special. She also made each animal interesting for both boys/girls of all ages (2-adult!) The party was a great hit! The Birthday Party Was A Hit! We invited about 20 kids from age 2-10. The show lasted a little over an hour, and let me tell you, that the kids were entranced. Not only was the show exciting, but they learned fun facts about these exotic animals while even getting to pet them. The best part about it was I didn't have to entertain all of those kids at the party. Wild Things took all the stress and worry away from me, so I was able to watch my 8-year-old enjoy her special day!

We had a birthday party for our 5 year old, some parents, other friends and cousins of all ages. It was great for toddlers up to senior citizens. We all had a lot of fun. Michelle was great with the kids, so knowledgeable, kind and caring. It was a great event and we would recommend it to anyone shopping for a great party idea.

Great show for 8 year old boys! The safari show was a great option for my 8 year old son's birthday party. Nine animals were brought to our home. It was the perfect amount for an hour show because the presenter did not have to rush and time was evenly alloted for each animal. The kids could touch each one-and grown ups! It was a no hassle choice for entertainment. Very professional in all aspects, from organizing, planning, payment, presenting, etc.

Great Birthday Party We had a wonderful experience with Wild Things. Our Birthday Boy had a wonderful time and learned many new things about the animals that were presented. Absolutely Incredible! Lorien and her animals exceeded all expectations we had for my grandson's 3rd birthday! We had a wide range of people attending, ranging in age from 3 months to 85 years old, including at least twelve kids between the ages of 2 and 12. Everyone was enthralled with the animals and the presentation. Lorien was fantastic with every age group. Everyone learned a lot of fun facts and had a wonderful time. The animals were beautiful, well adjusted, and wonderfully healthy; a pleasure to see and touch.

The Kids Were Wild About Wild Things! We had Lorien come for my son Kaden's 6th birthday party. It was great that Kaden was able to choose the animals ahead of time. The kids enjoyed being able to interact and touch all of the animals. Lorien is wonderful with the kids. The program is fun, interactive and very educational. It is obvious Lorien cares greatly for animals and loves what she does.

Great Animal Show! We really enjoyed having Lorien visit our home for my daughter's birthday party. We had a similar program the year before that allowed the kids to hold the animals a bit more, so some were disappointed they couldn't do so as much this time. But the other adult attendees and I were really impressed with Lorien's knowledge, how well she treated the animals, and her patience with the kids!

My daughter's 2nd party was a great success. . . I recently had a party for my daughter's 2nd birthday, with people ranging in age from 2 to 82, and every single person had a great time. Lorien was engaging and patient from the time she walked in until the end of the presentation. I would recomend Wild Things Science to anyone that is looking for a fun learning experiment for people of all ages. Even my grandma that is 82 had a fantastic time, and one of my relatives is planning another birthday party and will be booking them!

I am mom of the year after the party! My 11 year- old animal lover had a great time at her Webkinz birthday party! (The real animals were better!) Lorien made the party fun, calm and full of facts. If you love animals. You and your kids will love a birthday party by Wild Things. They take their time to make sure all the kids and adults that want to touch and see the animals can do so up close. They don't rush and are not in a hurry to run out the door.
