Although the focal point of Wildwood is the huge manor house (a popular site for weddings and other gatherings - call 440.974.5735 for infomation) it is also a delightful small nature park.
Wildwood is a good bird watching site and a good choice for a short hike when the kids are learning to identify trees - buckeyes, walnuts, scotch pines, maples and oaks are represented along a flat, easy trail system.
Trail surfaces are very flat, hard-packed dirt that are conducive to stroller traffic; a small bridge over a little stream and a short boardwalk provide extra interest along the trails.
We think Wildwood is most beautiful in the fall when the trees are at their most fragrant and colorful.
Note: No water and no restrooms are available outside.
