One of six separate parks within Cleveland Lakefront State Park, Wildwood was created from an 1800s-era farm, built far from the then-young city of Cleveland.
Today, Wildwood boasts six launch ramps depositing boats and boaters into Lake Erie's prime walleye waters. A picnic area with a shelter is also available, and can be reserved through the park office for a fee (call 216.881.8141).
The marina and concessions at Wildwood are operated by Cleveland-based Discovery Dive. Food, gasoline, bait, and other supplies are available.

Take your swimsuit! A mile-long bike path connects to Villa Angela, the park "next door," which features a 900-foot swim beach.
