This outdoor amphitheater offers a wonderful season of music, adventure, fun, and games in a beautiful canyon setting.
Family Funday Performances are held on Sundays at 11am, throughout the summer.
In addition, educational summer youth programs offer a nurturing, creative environment for weekday activities. Youth Drama Camp encourages kids nine to 14 to participate in theater technique workshops which culminate in a performance of Shakespeare. The Young People's Camp is specially designed to introduce young children ages six to seven to the imaginative world of theater.
In the off-season, Theatricum offers educational programs, workshops, and enrichment programs for local public and private schools. Youth Drama Saturdays: Acting, Playwriting, and Performing Arts enables kids eight to 14 to write and perform short plays on varying subjects. The High School Drama series focuses on different aspects of acting including improvisation, monologue, and scene study.

tips:
Try to arrive early as parking on Topanga Canyon Blvd. can be tricky! Bring a picnic or eat sandwiches, salads, and snacks at the reasonably priced Hamlet Hut cafe. Wear sunhats, sunscreen in the daytime, and bring sweaters for chilly evening performances.
getting there:
Theatricum is located in Topanga Canyon between the 101 Freeway and Pacific Coast Highway. From the Ventura (101) Freeway, exit Topanga Canyon South. Head west, toward the ocean. Theatricum is approximately 5 1/2 miles south on the right, about a half mile past the mock-Tudor Los Angeles Shakespeare building. From Pacific Coast Hwy, follow Topanga Canyon Blvd approximately 6 miles. Theatricum is on your left.
