Willow Metropark features an 18-hole golf course, a 17-acre pond, a 4.5-mile hike-bike trail, a disc golf course, and a tot lot with sandbox and slides. An Olympic-sized swimming pool with a separate diving area is open weekdays 9:30am-7pm and weekends and holidays 11am-8pm; there is a $3/person fee.
A skatepark, located near the pool complex, features ramps, jumps, rails, stairs, quarter pipes, and more. Separate days are designated for skateboarding/in-line skating or biking. Helmets are required and kneepads, elbow pads, and wrist guards are recommended. The skatepark is open and attended by park staff daily from 10am-dusk during the summer through Labor Day. From Labor Day through November 1, and from April 1 through Memorial Day, the skatepark is open in the afternoon during the week, with longer hours on the weekend. Families should call ahead for designated use days and hours of operation.
At the Washago Pond Picnic Area building, bicycles, paddleboats, and rowboats are available for rent, and fishing poles can be borrowed for free.
In the winter months, families can enjoy ice skating on Wahago Pond, sledding on the hills near Washago Pond and the Chestnut Picnic Area, and more than six miles of groomed cross-country ski trails.
