The World of Disney store in NYC adds plenty of sparkle to Fifth Avenue, offering three floors' worth of clothes (much better quality than days of yore), toys, and other themed merchandise.

Little ones can gather in the Friendship room to meet Disney characters for autographs, hugs, and photos. The roster changes frequently, so check the store website to see who's around when you wish to visit or call the Guest Service Desk for daily updates.

The second floor is the toy zone, with stuffed toys, the latest Disneyana, and a build-your-own Potato Head area where kids can pick and choose accessories for a Mrs or Mrs Potato Head toy - and the Potato Head itself.

The main floor is the place to find clothing, costumes, hats, and vintage Disney-wear as well as the latest highlighted merchandise from The Disney Channel. Disney souvenirs with a New York City twist are also available here.

Bathrooms, with changing tables in both men's and ladies' rooms, are located on the lower level.
