When kids step into the world of WOW! Children's Museum (World of Wonder) they are confronted with so many options they'll forget that you (the parent) are even along for the ride! This is a place for toddlers, school age children and their families, offering a variety of interactive and informative educational and creative exhibits and programs that stimulate learning and child development.
Children can find role play opportunities which include a grocery store, dental and medical, the pirate ship, and a music room. Dramatic Arts include a dance room, a puppet theater and theater stage, and the very popular costume area. There are lots of arts and crafts to challenge every tiny artist including Play-doh, sand castles, a color table and the intriguing bubble area.
Twice a week for one hour the museum is open only to guests four and younger (and their caregivers, of course). This is a wonderful, nonthreatening opportunity for the little ones to play without encountering the older set. There's also a snack area and you can bring your own refreshments/snacks or even order in pizza for a visit over lunch.
WOW! can host parties: Prices start at $8.50 per child for larger events.
