We are so grateful to Young Actors Space and Patrick Day! Living out of state, our needs for coaching are always last minute with a narrow window for the opportunity (hours not days :) to get in a lesson prior to auditions. Patrick is brilliant in his methods of helping his students bring their character to life unique to them and teaching them to analyze and understand the character and the script. Patrick truly cares and values his students. My son leaves his lessons with confidence in his choices and is able to walk into casting feeling prepared to do his best and leaves knowing he did his best. Patrick has helped my son prepare for fun roles to dark roles and each lesson he has left with a strengthened passion for his craft. We will always be grateful to Patrick.....the teamwork of his brilliant coaching and my sons talent developed confidence and a strong choice in his character which led to booking a lead role in a Nickelodeon pilot. Whether he books roles or not, the feedback his reps get from casting is always that he did a great job and is well prepared. Thank you for always making time between your busy schedule and classes to get him in. Congratulations to anyone who chooses to send their child to Young Actors Space for classes and lessons :)

The Young Actor's Space is a wonderful institution for young people who are looking to pursue and excel at acting. I found the environment to be fun-filled and enthusiastic, while also being productive and pro-active. The teachers (who are brilliant mentors and role-models for students) are open, warm and encouraging, harnessing each actor's individual needs and potential; building their confidence in regards to their strengths and developing their weaker points. I found that, over a 3 week period, my trust and confidence in myself as an actor, my craft and fellow actors increased dramatically. I felt comfortable and secure expressing myself in such a positive and helpful environment. Ultimately, the Young Actor's Space is an organisation in which passion is not only the driving force behind teachers and students alike, but also shared very generously between them!

My son, Shane, 9, a working actor, counts the days before he goes to class at The Young Actor's Space. I am a Talent Manager and spent many years as a working actor, have a BFA in Performing Arts and have taught for many years. I teach on the side out of pure enjoyment, but aside from that I have ALWAYS recommend The Young Actor's Space to ALL of my clients as my favorite place to study! Many working young actor's have come out of there. Not to mention, their techniques and standards far surpass most of any I have experienced. If you're looking for a well priced acting school that in no way takes advantage or exploits children, you'll find it at The Young Actor's Space. I mean this with ALL sincerity.

My son Gabriel did his first Theater Summer Camp Conservatory last year and he had a ball! Nora Eckstein and Patrick Day put together a brilliant play that all the kids, including my son enjoyed participating in. For that reason Gabriel asked me to enroll him again this year. He just finished his 2nd. Theater Summer Camp there participating in another brillant play (written by Nora and directed by Patrick ) being among a cast of such talented and wonderful kids and having an awesome experience again! He also participated in their Winter & Fall acting Sessions, he loves having Patrick for a teacher!
I highly recommend Young Actors Space, is a safe, nurturing and loving environment where the kids can learn very valuable acting skills while having so much fun!

Check out the summer conservatory. Simply the best!

Our grandson,Ryan Malgarini, age 6,loved doing commericals, but terrified to do lines. Because he didn't want to quit the business, we felt he might be more comfortable if he took some acting classes with children his own age, and he was agreeable with the idea. We knew YAS had a great reputation, so we drove from Las Vegas to Van Nuys. After his first class he came out of class all excited with a big smile on his face and asked "can we come back again next week, please!? That was the beginning of his career and love of acting. He just finished a class @ YAS and is about to turn 15 years old. The trip for each class was well worth it, Young Actors Space changed his life...they are the best!

My son really enjoys the sessions at YAS, and he has learned so much. I honestly believe that he was able to become a working actor thanks to their help! Thanks you: Nora, Patrick, Gilmer, and Oren...You guys are the best!

Young Actors Space is a great place to begin your child acting career. Wonderful and caring teachers. My child made many great friends there and Nora is always available to help. Great place for networking and gettring your questions answered.

There is absolutely no better place for kids interested in acting, either professionally or just for the experience. The teaching staff is exceptional and every child is guaranteed to find their inner Brando or Streep. My 2 daughters (9 & 13) have been there for 4 years and look forward to every class.
