Zeeks no-frills restaurants have a distinctly alternative vibe - think piercings, not patchouli - and serve up one of Seattle's best pies whole or by the slice. Eat in, order one to go, or call for delivery. Online ordering is also available.

Crusts are chewy and slightly nutty in flavor. Purists can order a simple and delicious roma, mozzarella, and pesto combination (called Frog Belly Green) or build their own, while the adventurous can blow their taste buds on the Thai One On (peanut sauce, bean sprouts, carrots, cilantro, chicken optional) or the Texas Leaguer (barbeque sauce, red onions, chicken, cilantro, mozzarella). The menu also features a selection of salads, really delicious breadsticks sprinkled with parmesan and oregano, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream to go.

We've found service to range from the sweet but spotty to the outright indifferent, although the casually-dressed families chatting busily at large tables don't really seem to mind. High chairs and crayons are available for the kids, although child-sized glasses for drinks are not.

Zeeks delivers to Seattle addresses between N 135th Street and the stadiums, and to West Seattle down to SW 136th Street. On the Eastside, Zeeks delivers to all of Kirkland, parts of Issaquah, Sammamish, and Fall City, but does not deliver to Bellevue or Redmond.
