About Zoo Boise

Zoo Boise, located in Julia Davis Park, displays all sorts of animals from all over the world. With a collection that includes everything from birds, to big cats, to bears, to bighorn sheep, the zoo hopes to introduce families to a world of animals that are worthy of learning about, protecting, and saving.

Education programs are available for ages three and up, including parent/tot classes, teen offerings, and learning opportunities for everyone in the family. A list of current programs is posted on the zoo's website; advance registration is required.

Memberships are available, affording Zoo Boise admission for one year, reciprocal admission at participating zoos around the country, a subscription to the zoo's newsletter, member entrance to zoo events, and discounts on zoo programs and purchases in the gift shop. Membership information is available on the zoo's website.

Kids can get "wild" at a Zoo Boise birthday party; see the website for details.
