Strange Brew: The 1960s


A selection of works from the Gallery's Permanent Collection focuses on an era that produced some of the most culturally responsive imagery in American history, fusing elements of surrealism and pop art with swirling patterns, neon colors, repeated motifs, and bizarre iconography. The exhibition features works by artists Werner Philips, Larry Slezak, and William Weege, among others.
