The interactive Science of Spying exhibit gives eager spy-wannabes of all ages an opportunity to experience the latest spy gadgets and techniques - including remote-control spy planes, night-vision goggles, biometric scanning, computer systems infiltration, and the dolphin spy camera. Visitors also learn how to detect liars, crack safes, and find hidden clues.

Harkins Summer Movie Fun: Kung Fu Panda (PG)


Harkins Theatres' Southlake 14 cinemaplex hosts a series of G- and PG-rated family movies during the summer. Season tickets for up to 10 movies can be purchased in advance for $5, or single-movie tickets can be purchased for $2 at the door. Each week features a different movie; this week's showing is Kung Fu Panda.

Ice Age Dallas


Visitors can see fossils including the mammoth that lived 20,000 years ago and once grazed along the banks of the Trinity River where Dallas stands today. Also on display is a life-sized robotic Glyptodont, which became extinct 10,000 years ago and is a close relative of modern armadillos.
