Broomfield's Great American Picnic


Broomfield hosts "The Great American Picnic" for the Fourth of July, an event that begins with a kiddie bike parade replete with decorated bicycles, tricycles, wagons and scooters and is followed by children's entertainment, carnival games, live music from The Nacho Men, and a fireworks show at dusk. Guests are invited to pack a picnic dinner or enjoy a hot dog grilled to perfection for a minimal cost at the park. Kids participating in the parade must wear helmets; each child in the parade receives a participation ribbon and a free pass to the Broomfield Bay Aquatic Park.
