Rock Stars' Cars & Guitars 2


Visitors to The Henry Ford can take a walk on the wild side and find out what truly drives rock stars during the all-new exhibit that features more than 20 cars, 50 guitars, and a wide array of rock memorabilia. The exhibit includes Camp Rock costumes worn by the Jonas Brothers, Snoop Dogg's 1974 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, Roy Orbison's 1967 Corvette, and more.

Farmington Area Founders Festival


Started to celebrate Farmington as the state's first Quaker settlement, the Founders Festival in downtown Farmington continues to represent the rich cultural heritage of the area. Children's activities abound with the Meijer Go PlayGround featuring Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey clowns and performers, plus inflatables, crafts, interactive theater, and a virtual playground. Crafters from around the country display their wares for sale; vendors offer a wide variety of food and snacks; and several stages are set up for live entertainment for the whole family.

The Concert of Colors is metro Detroit's annual world music festival, bringing together diverse communities and ethnic groups. Admission is free to all performances on three stages (two indoors, one outdoors).
