Rock Stars' Cars & Guitars 2


Visitors to The Henry Ford can take a walk on the wild side and find out what truly drives rock stars during the all-new exhibit that features more than 20 cars, 50 guitars, and a wide array of rock memorabilia. The exhibit includes Camp Rock costumes worn by the Jonas Brothers, Snoop Dogg's 1974 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, Roy Orbison's 1967 Corvette, and more.

Westland Summer Festival


The annual festival opens with a city parade along Ford Road at 6pm on July 1 and ends with a spectacular fireworks display on July 5 at 10:15pm. The festival, located behind City Hall, is family oriented with various children and adult events, including a petting farm, carnival rides, and games for all ages. Families can also enjoy Robinsons Racing Pigs, a arge arts and crafts show, various food concessions, and live entertainment nightly.

Ann Arbor Summer Festival: So Long Sunday


Another year of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival wraps up with performances by Madcat & Kane, George Bedard & the Kingpins, and a sing-along screening of the musical classic The Sound of Music at 10pm. Comerica CityFest


Comerica Cityfest brings loads of food and entertainment to Detroit's New Center area with its free national and local talent on four stages plus more than 40 Michigan restaurants selling "tastes" of their specialties. Other activities include free stage shows, a Tot Lot, and a marketplace of unique Detroit products and memorabilia. The festival takes place on West Grand Boulevard between Woodward Avenue and the Lodge Freeway (M-10). Families with strollers might find it easier to move through the festival earlier in the day.
