Therman Statom: Stories of the New World


Therman Statom's Stories of the New World - inspired by Juan Ponce de Leon's 1513 search for the Fountain of Youth - is a colorful custom art installation featuring a wide variety of materials in addition to his preferred medium, blown glass. Visitors walk through a mirrored maze, and past panoramic murals, video projections, and glass sculptures to reach Statom's conception of the fabled fountain.

Jerry Pinkney: Aesop's Fables and Other Tails


More than 65 original watercolor illustrations depicting well-known fables such as The Tortoise and the Hare, The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, and The Goose and the Golden Egg, as well as classic children's stories including The Ugly Duckling, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, and The Little Red Hen make up an exhibition by the award-winning illustrator of more than 80 children's books.
