Window on Washington Waters


The Aquarium's renovated space on Pier 59 features a 120,000 gallon exhibit with a 19'x39' window that dramatically showcases hundreds of local fish and invertebrates in a scene replicated from the rocky underwater cliffs of Neah Bay. Twice a day, divers enter the waters and, through the use of specialized masks, talk to visitors about the environment and the creatures who live in the depths.

Kids can explore the properties of water in an exhibit that lets them pump, pour, spin, and spray it. They can build bridges, dams, and waterfalls, then race boats down a rocky stream. Life of a Drifter


The Aquarium's newest exhibit features a 9-foot-high clear acrylic tank, shaped like a ring, now home to dozens of Moon Jellies. A giant Pacific octopus and wolf eels are also on display in a new habitat. Look for the hands-on area where visitors can get close to juvenile rockfish, sea stars, the life stages of Moon Jellies, and plankton.
