A mobile visual arts program, Abrakadoodle Art travels to different locations around the west side of Los Angeles. The curriculum meets the national standards for visual arts education and has been endorsed by Crayola. Armory Center for the Arts is a 20,000 square-foot space conceived to give the community opportunities to appreciate and create contemporary art. The Armory started as the education department of the Pasadena Art Museum, then moved into the National Guard Armory building in Old Pasadena.

It now presents exhibitions and performances of contemporary art, and provides a place for artists and educators to meet, learn, and refresh their skills.

Classes are available for children of all ages, and encourage students to appreciate and understand contemporary art while they are creating it.

The Art Center for Kids offers a range of unique design courses that teach critical thinking, innovation, and visual literacy. The program aims to nurture creativity in students in grades 4 through 8 and help them to become designers of their own world.

The Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena offers more than 50 programs at five different locations in the Pasadena area. All activities and programs are included in the membership price. Following the infamous incident at the end of 2007 in which a crane dropped a billboard through the roof, Cool Baby's facility is temporarily closed for renovations. Until further notice, many classes are being held at two temporary locations; call for details or see their online schedule, which is updated weekly.

Cool Baby offers enrichment classes for kids and babies in art, music, and yoga, as well as yoga for moms-to-be and new moms by Yoga Works trained teachers. The Craft and Folk Art Museum (CAFAM) is an institution which pioneered recognition in the Los Angeles area of the aesthetic and cultural merit of traditional arts and crafts.
