The AAF Rose Bowl Aquatics Center, a leading swimming and diving facility located in Pasadena's Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl, offers year round programming for families, from babies to seniors, regardless of ability to pay. The facility provides an ideal setting for aquatic fitness, housing two 50-meter pools, a 40,000 gallon warm water pool for teaching and physical therapy, and a fitness center for weight resistance and cardio training.

Programs include group and private swim and diving lessons, water polo, various teams, and the Anderson Adventure Camp H2O summer program.

Instruction is also offered to children with special needs. Physically, developmentally, or behaviorally challenged children work one on one with an instructor who is specifically trained and experienced in working with children who have special needsd.

LA Speech and Language Therapy Center offers early intervention services for children with special needs and after-school programs for children with Asperger’s syndrome, high-functioning autism, ADD/ADHD, and other pervasive developmental disorders.

The Center for Enriched Education is a preschool program that the center offers from 8:30am-5pm.

The center has a summer camp for children with communication disorders and also offers parent-professional training workshops to provide caregivers and other professionals with current research and strategies to assist in the care of their children.

Media Enrichment Academy guides children through multimedia projects like short movies, animation, claymation, visual poetry, documentaries, and other projects on state-of-the-art Apple iMac computers.

Each project incorporates language, literature, history, art, or science and uses multimedia as the catalyst for learning these subjects. Classes are small and are made up of children of similar ages and abilities, ranging from gifted through special education.
