Like a virtual children's art museum, Artsonia is an online collection of kids' artwork from around the world. Kids can take the masterpieces they've created and upload them onto the website. Family and friends can then visit the artwork and participate in activities that allow them to take an active role in a child's art education, even if they live far away. The City of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Deptartment oversees recreation programs, park facilities, and a variety of classes for kids of all ages.

The Parks Division manages more than 30 parks, ball fields, 16 tennis courts, playgrounds, 3/4 of a mile of lakefront property, a greenhouse, a nursery, 160 acres of open space, a cemetery, and recreation facilities. The Art Room is a fine arts teaching studio located in the heart of Southwest Orlando.

Classes include oils, watercolors, and drawing for adults as well as painting, drawing, and mixed media for children in kindergarten and above. The preschool program teaches four- and five-year-olds basic principles of art through exciting, age-appropriate projects. Most classes are eight weeks in length.

Trout Lake Nature Center and wildlife preserve encompasses 230 acres on the north edge of Eustis. The area, a wetlands-forest habitat bordering Trout Lake, is home to an array of native flora and fauna.
