Other programs for children include an indoor soccer league for boys and girls ages four to 12, and a Youth City Council for children in 9th through 12th grades. It's a big hit with young children thanks to its very large zero-depth entry (gradual increase in depth) and pool playground; older children enjoy the impressive water slides. Please check the schedule or call the center for more information. There is no charge to members; non-member youth (ages three to 17) and seniors pay $4, adults pay $5. Monday and Friday nights are Family Nights - bring your whole family and pay only $16 for up to six immediate family members. If you have a group of seven or more, you can get a group rate of $3.25 per person if you reserve in advance. The indoor pool has the same pricing. Over a dozen different swimming classes are offered year-round for children ages three to five. Discounts are available if enrolling more than one child. Private lessons are not scheduled at the center, though arrangements can be made to use the pool for private lessons. Early Childhood Center: Nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the ECC is a preschool offering year round programs for children two years of age through kindergarten. The youth-led BBYO program empowers teens to develop their leadership potential. Kids Konnection after school program is offered for kids in grades one through eight, and includes field trips to educational and fun places, as well as activities such as swimming, climbing, tennis, and art. Homework Hall is a program that allows children to get their homework done right after school, allowing parents and children a quiet evening at home.
