Clayton Productions is a private entertainment school for everyone from young children through young adults. Instruction focuses on song, dance (ballet, jazz, etc.), voice, showmanship, and performance. Students in the advanced classes are selected through an audition process, but the entry-level and intermediate classes are available by registration. A class for special needs children is offered as well.

The Guyz N Dollz Performing Arts Academy offers vocal, acting, dance, and musical theatre instruction. In addition to tap, ballet, and hip hop dance classes, Guyz N Dollz also offers a dance program for children with special needs.

Ivies Acres Farm offers a variety of mini horse and pony services, including pony rides, wagon rides, cart rides, donkey rides, classes, camps, "day at the farm" experiences, animal assisted therapy, and animal breeding and sales. On-site camps and classes are offered; subjects include basic horse care, riding lessons, and gardening (kids receive certification as a Junior Master Gardener).

Ivie Acres pony services are suitable for birthdays, schools, festivals, church gatherings, family reunions, camps, corporate events, scouting events, fairs, etc.

Pony parties can take place at Ivie Acres or at another location of the client's choice. Parties consist of hand guided pony rides. Clients can have themed pony party; ponies come in costumes appropriate for the chosen theme. Cake, games, decorations, party favors, and other party supplies are also available.

Opened in 2005, Kids World Preschool educates children with and without disabilities in an inclusive environment. It offers specialized teaching for children with autism, PDD, speech delays, Down Syndrome, Asperger's, behavior challenges, Cerebral Palsy, and developmental delays. Students are required to attend classes at least two days per week.

Class size is typically eight to 10 children (approximately half with disabilities and half without disabilities) with 2-3 adults. The owner and main teacher at the school, Brandon Francis, is a licensed teacher with a degree in early childhood special education.

Every day, the children do "Work Box" activities, where each child gets one on one interaction with an adult to work on specific skills. Other daily activities include work on gross and fine motor skills (through play, arts, and crafts), music, and work on pre-academic skills.

Kindred Spirits is a non-profit arts organization where children partner with a parent or other important adult in their lives to collaborate and make works of art while learning about art history and diversity. Workshops are offered throughout the year. Creations from past workshops include pop-up books, kites, mosaic wall art, digital photography, and tire swings. At the end of the sessions, public receptions or performances are held so the young artists and their works of art can be celebrated.

Programs are designed especially for children with diverse disabilities, their families, and their friends. Children with special needs work side by side with children without disabilities, creating an environments where all students, regardless of their skills and abilities, learn about art and each other.

Workshops vary in price, depending on materials needed. Advance registration is required for most sessions. Scholarships are sometimes available, but workshops are usually quite inexpensive.

Redwood Learning Center provides consultative services to parents who wish to set up intensive programs for their children with autism or related disorders. The center provides various levels of services for families in Utah and throughout the United States.

Susie is a Sign2Me presenter, offering courses in baby sign language based on the Sign with Your Baby program. She currently offers Parent & Me infant sign language classes in Weber County. The classes teach infants and participating adults actual American Sign Language signs through music, play, and interactive fun. Through the use of signs, infants as young as eight months old can clearly communicate specific thoughts and desires, allowing parents to get an early glimpse into their child's personality. The program was developed for hearing children, but since it's based on ASL, deaf children can certainly benefit from the program, as can children with special needs or speech delays.

Susie's Parent & Me infant sign language course lasts five weeks, and purchase of the Sign2Me Pick Me Up! CD and activity guide are required. Classes are currently held in Pleasant View. Space is limited; call to reserve a spot in the program.

South Valley Creative Dance offers Mom & Tot, Creative/Modern, Boys Who Move, Special Needs, Adult, and Company dance classes. Each spring each class participates in the spring concert; a children's book is chosen as the theme for this performance.
