Planet St. Louis creates and hosts chaperoned parties for kids in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades at venues around the metropolitan area, including The Magic House, The Pageant, SkyZone Recreational Center, The Darkness Haunted House, and others. At each party, the Planet team has exclusive control of the venue.

In addition to food, drinks, music, and entertainment, the company provides a large number of chaperones at each activity and wristbands for participants; no in-and-out privileges are allowed, thereby ensuring a safe, controlled environment.

A Shaw Neighborhood resident founded St. Louis BicycleWORKS to give area "at-risk" youths a place to develop skills, interact with peers and caring adults, and safely challenge the limits of their abilities.

BicycleWORKS' primary focus is the Earn-a-Bike Program for kids. Children are taught the basics about bicycle safety and maintenance as a means to build community awareness and personal responsibility. Youths who complete the course graduate with knowledge about bicycles, skills to work as an individual as well as cohesively with a group, and a better understanding of personal safety. Graduating youths earn their own bike, helmet, light, and lock, and participate in a group safety ride with adults and peers.

Young Adult Life Initiative (YALI) is a not-for-profit organization that helps prepare youth for college and adulthood with workshops and events that focus on life skills, career, college, and entrepreneurial development. Workshops can take place at high schools, colleges, churches, and for corporate-sponsored events for youth.
