All Star Legacy Cheerleading and Dance offers cheerleading, tumbling, and dance classes for children ages three and up and a competitive cheer program for ages six and up in a 12,000 square foot facility. Tutsi Rolls, a parent/child class for children 18 months through age four, is a biweekly open gym where little ones can play around on the equipment, including a moon bounce, tumble track, air track, and more.

The facilities at the Aquatic Center include a six-lane, 25-yard main pool with a one-meter board, as well as an adjacent shallow water "teach pool" area. Lockers and showers are available. The Aquatic Center offers group swim lessons for children (six months and up), lifeguard training, and swimnastics. Classes are held weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings. Private Lessons are also available on a very limited basis.

There is Family Recreational Swim time, during which the pool is open to the public for informal recreation, including limited lap lanes (1-3), a diving area, and a shallow play and teach pool area. During the designated Lap Swim Only time, all six lap lanes are available for lap swimming only. The teach pool area and recreation areas are unavailable.

The Arlington Little League provides baseball experience for youngsters at many levels, where everyone plays in every game. Throughout the program, the base paths are set to 60 feet and at the higher levels, pitching is done from about 46 feet. The Majors 1 level produces two All-Star teams that compete for the opportunity to participate in the annual World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania each August.

The Spring program runs from March through June, with tournament play for the higher levels extending into July and beyond. The program strives for competitive equity among teams at the Majors level to insure a balanced experience for young players. The Fall season is an instructional program from September through October.

Ashburn Ice House offers public skating and lessons for all ages - including a Mommy/Daddy and Me Tot Skating Class, as well as myriad ice sports. This rink features two NHL Sized ice rinks, professional-style locker rooms, a pro shop, a state-of-the-art fitness center, POMODORO Pasta, Pizza, & More restaurant, the Mezzanine/Viewing Lounge, a dance studio, and a video arcade.

Owned by the National Park Service and operated by Friends of Fort Dupont, the Fort Dupont Ice Arena is the only public indoor ice rink in DC.

In addition to regular public skating sessions, the Arena's Kids On Ice program offers free Learn To Skate classes to area youth (ages five and up). Learn To Skate takes skaters from beginning through intermediate Basic Skill levels. Freestyle level skaters may join the Kids On Ice/Advanced Skills Clinic (after evaluation by the Skating Director).
